Are air conditioning units bad for the environment?

Any new air conditioning system using up to date refrigerant gases such as R32 have a really low GWP. new air conditioning systems also use inverter compressors and fan motors making it more energy efficient and less damaging to the environment.

All air conditioning systems come with removable Filters which need to be cleaned regularly. We recommend systems to be serviced at least once a year.

This depends on where you live and who is the freeholder. For example, if you live in an apartment you will need permission from the freeholder to install the outdoor unit on an external wall or roof.

This depends on the size of the space and the use of the area. For a small bedroom usually a 2KW or 2.5KW unit will suffice.

Why is my air conditioning unit not cooling?

If your air conditioning is not cooling, we recommend you check it is in the cooling mode, sometimes it may take a while for an air conditioning unit to start cooling. If this doesn’t not help we recommend calling an engineer.

Why is my air conditioning leaking water?

Air Conditioning systems produce condensation, if it is leaking you may have a failed condensate pump or drain.

Why is my air conditioning fan not working?

Funny smells may occur if you haven’t used your air conditioning for a while, if the smell persists after leaving it running for a while we recommend getting the system serviced.

Some manufacturers provide Hepa filters as standard and others don’t.

Do you install air conditioning without an outdoor unit?

Two options are available either a water cooled condenser unit, which will be plumbed in to you mains water system or an internal unit installed on an external wall with two vents which will be visible externally.

Do you need yearly air conditioning yearly maintenance?

We highly recommend a yearly maintenance to prolong the life of your system.

Do you provide an air conditioning controller?

Depending on the system installed you will be able to have an infrared controller, a hard wired controller or a mobile app which enables you to control your air conditioning when not at home or when your in the next room.
